1979/09/13 - USA, Amarillo, Civic Center Arena
Here is my review.
Back in the '80's I was always on the search for cool new rock albums.
I think I saw an ad in the back of Cream magazine with the AC/DC Logo and immediately loved it.
I was looking thru some Import albums at a record store and found an album with a dog pissing on an electrical box and amazingly, there was that cool Logo again.
I couldn't resist and had to buy it. I have been a huge fan ever since.
Not long after, AC/DC came to a city nearby. I remember thinking that Bon Scott was the epitome of Rock and Roll. I still can't believe how punky his voice was. and with Angus' looks it was as a perfect fit.
A moment that stands out to me over-all was when It seemed like the music stopped and Angus looked right at me as I took my photo of him. It was pure magic, and I still have the picture to re-live the moment in my head all over again. I think the "Highway To Hell Concert" was my all-time fave and I'm glad I took my camera that night.
AC/DC keeps on rockin' ... they kicked some Hollywood Ass last night on the Grammy's. it went quickly downhill from there.
Too bad for all of us that Bon wasn't able to attend.

Dans les années 80, j'étais sans cesse à la recherche de nouveaux bon albums de Rock. J'ai vu une publicité avec le logo AC/DC sur le verso du magazine Cream et j'ai tout de suite aimé.
Dans le magasin de disques imports dans lequel j'avais mes habitudes, j'ai vu ce disque avec un chien qui pissait sur un générateur électrique. Et encore une fois avec ce super logo . Je n'ai pas résisté et je l'ai acheté. Depuis, je suis un grand fan.
Peu de temps après, AC/DC a débarqué dans une ville près de chez moi. Je me souviens que je m'étais dis que Bon Scott était l'incarnation même du Rock'n'roll. Sa voix était punk, et avec Angus à ses côtés, les deux faisaient vraiment la paire.
Je me souviendrai toujours de ce moment où la musique s'est arrêtée et où j'ai eu l'impression qu'Angus me regardait droit dans les yeux au moment où je prenais une photo de lui. C'était magique. Et je possède encore cette image pour revivre ce moment encore et encore. Je pense que le concert du "Highway To Hell Tour" est mon préféré toute période confondue et je suis heureux d'avoir pris mon appareil photo avec moi ce soir là !
AC/DC continue toujours à être Rock'n'roll. Pas plus tard qu'hier, ils ont botté le cul de pas mal de monde aux Grammys. Ce fut compliqué pour ceux qui passaient après eux..
